Ocean Racing Tech Looks To Barcelona, Spain

Ocean Racing Technology Is Ready For The Barcelona Races

The second meeting of the GP2 Main Series championship will be held this weekend at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona (Spain). Armed with some convincing winter tests at the Catalan circuit and the performances of its drivers, Johnny Cecotto, Jr. and Kevin Mirocha, Ocean Racing Technology is confident to be able to secure a good result this weekend.

"Having experience on this circuit makes me more confident," acknowledged Johnny Cecotto, "It is a technical circuit I like very much and I think that we are well prepared to handle this challenge. I am confident that I will be able to fight for a place on the podium," concluded the Venezuelan driver, who is racing in the GP2 Main Series for the second year in a row.

For his part, rookie Kevin Mirocha feels that the Barcelona meeting will be more interesting, and probably more rewarding than the Istanbul weekend where he first started in the series. "Tyre selection and management will be crucial to how the weekend goes and to the final result. I know the circuit and therefore I will be more ambitious than in Turkey. But the races will be long and you have to keep in mind that they won't be decided at the first corner!"

The Barcelona races will be broadcast on Eurosport, Saturday at 10:00 p.m. and Sunday live at 9:30 a.m.
