Niederhauser to make GP2 debut at Monza
Patric Niederhauser will make his GP2 debut at Monza this weekend, joining forces with Team Lazarus.
The Swiss driver, who finished 10th in GP3 last season, will replace Nathanael Berthon at Monza, lining up alongside Sergio Canamasas, who himself is standing in for the injured Zoel Amberg.
"I am extremely happy about my debut in the GP2 Series in Monza with Daiko Team Lazarus next weekend," he said.
"I'm ready for this opportunity. It will be an enormous challenge with many new challenging things.
"I am very grateful with those who offered me this possibility and I will give it my all to achieve as much as possible.
"A big thank you to all the people who made this debut possible at the last moment as well as to my sponsors and supporters."
