French racer makes feeder series switch from Formula Renault 3.5.
Arden International has signed Frenchman Norman Nato for the 2015 GP2 Series.
The 22-year old from Cannes finished seventh in last year’s Formula Renault 3.5 championship, scoring wins at Monaco and Hungary.
“I am delighted to join such an experienced and successful team for my debut in GP2,” said Nato, who was team-mate to FR3.5 champion Carlos Sainz last year.
“The Abu Dhabi tests went well and I had a great feeling with the team. Although I am a rookie, I aim to achieve a strong performance in 2015."
Arden’s team principal Garry Horner added: “We are delighted to have Norman sign with us for our GP2 championship challenge this season. We have had the opportunity to observe him closely throughout his year in the World Series and feel he is ready for the step into GP2 Series.”
