"I can't complain about that one! To be the first GP2 series winner in Monaco means a lot, and I'm really happy. You don't realise until you get here just how tough this circuit actually is. The last ten laps were like genuine torture but the team did a great job today. Gimmi was quick but I thought I could get him. I pushed really hard even though I bent the steering after I kissed the wall at the swimming pool. I'm just really pleased with the whole weekend and can't wait for Nurburgring."

"The win was there but we lost time in the pitstop unfortunately and I lost time on my in and out laps. When I came out I was five seconds behind Adam and for the final laps I was pushing very hard. I was catching him and just hoped he'd make a mistake but he didn't. I was faster than him but there wasn't room to pass. When Negrão spun in front of me it was bad. Adam passed him and I saw the car spinning back towards me. Luckily it was fine. Now I'm second in the championship so I'm very happy and looking forward to the next race."

"Luckily we had quite a good start, but there was a lot of traffic so we took the decision to come in early and I had a good pitstop. We just didn't make any mistakes, I took it easy coming in, kept calm and it went ok. Then I had a gap and I pushed really hard to catch up to the leaders. I was caught up behind Scott who was much slower than me, but it's just impossible to pass here. When he came out of the pits behind me I looked up and saw my name in third on the board, I was like, `no way!' I could have tried to pass but it would have been stupid. I'm just happy to get my first podium."
