It was a disappointing week-end for Coloni Motorsport drivers in Magny-Cours. In Race 2, Gimmi Bruni suffered an electronic problem just in the recognition lap and he was forced to enter in the pit and rejoin the track after the start light. The Italian talented driver was constantly the quickest on the track and he was able to take the best race lap and the 11th place: a tremendous performance for Gimmi today. Mathias Lauda lost many position in the first lap because of the under stall system. After this, Mathias have been pushing hard and he finished 15th.

Gimmi Bruni: "Unfortunately, during the recognition lap I suffered a pit limiter problem which forced me to come to the pit before the start. The mechanics were able to fix the problem by I missed the green light and I started the race from the box. The car's performances have been very good during all the race and I scored the best lap of the race and two points. Considering my starting position, this was the maximum result to be taken: I think this two points could be important at the end of the Championship. Now, I am looking forward to being in Silverstone and to starting qualifying session."

Mathias Lauda: "It has been not a good race week-end for me. Today, I jumped well at the start but at the first braking the under stall system switched on and left my car without gear: so, I lost many position. I tried to push hard but today I had no chance to stay in the points. I hope to have a better race at Silverstone next week."

Next race will be held at Silverstone on next 8th-10th July, 2005.
