The rising Japanese star follows a line of successful Auto GP drivers to make it in GP2
Kimiya Sato, the runner-up in the 2013 Auto GP championship, will be driving in the 2014 GP2 Series.
Sato is following in the footsteps of other Auto GP greats including Romain Grosjean, currently the leading driver of Lotus Formula 1 Team and a former GP2 Champion, Kevin Ceccon and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs.
