Gimmi Bruni sets Trident Racing's first pole position

Gimmi Bruni drove a perfect lap presenting Trident Racing the first pole position in its still brief history. At the second event of the season, in fact, the roman driver made the right move twelve minutes before the end of the qualifying session. His flyier being so good that nobody was able to beat it even if the session was still open. Maurizio Salvadori, team owner, commented: "I am very satisfied because this pole position demonstrates that the whole team is working in the right way". We are enjoying the moment but we are maintaining our concentration".

Gimmi Bruni #26 - Pole Position

"I had a very good car at my disposal and I drove without traffic problems. Being in pole position for one of the home races has a special taste, of course, but what I did today is the result of all the hard work we have done together. Together with the engineers, I found the set up of my desire, so I could push as much as I liked and the result came naturally. I hope this will be the first of a long sequence, in the meantime I am enjoying the two points scored even before starting the race".

Andreas Zuber # 27 - 17.a position

"My goal was qualifying in the top ten but I was not able to do it, maybe my mistake was a wrong approach with this track considering that this morning was my very first time. I may have been too aggressive, regardless I had a problem in the rear of the car so I couldn't take advantage of it in the way I would have liked. My compliments to Gimmi, I hoped to finish a little closer to him, it will be for the next time".
