ARDEN RACERS FACE UPHILL STRUGGLE

Budapest is one of the tightest, trickiest venues on the GP2 Series schedule -- and Arden team-mates Charles Pic and Rodolfo Gonzalez face a difficult time in tomorrow afternoon's 39-lap race. At a circuit where overtaking is traditionally very difficult, they will line up 14th and 24th. Pic's session was interrupted by a clash of wheels with championship leader Pastor Maldonado (Rapax), who knocked the Frenchman wide as the two cars negotiated Turn 13.

Charles:

"The free practice and qualifying sessions were hard for us. I was ninth on my first set of tyres, but then we made a set-up change that took us in the wrong direction and I slipped to 14th. It's unfortunate, because it is not easy to overtake here, so all I can do its focus on the race and try to fight my way into the points. It will be hard, but it certainly isn't impossible."

Rodolfo:

"I find it difficult to believe that I can qualify badly so many times in one season. The lap times were relatively close today -- except for mine. I was one second away from the car ahead, so something strange is happening and we're going to investigate further."
