The Feature Race ended in a fantastic result for iSport this morning, with both Ericsson and Dillmann finishing in the top 8. After a disappointing qualifying yesterday for the team, both drivers recovered well with Dillmann finishing top of the rookies and Marcus Ericsson fighting his way from P13 to P4.

Richard Selwin – Chief Engineer for Tom Dillmann

“A good, solid race from Tom. Unfortunately he had a lock up on L3, which made a flat spot on the right front. This compromised the rest of his race, but he still managed the race very well to P6. The pit stop was very good for his debut pit stop race. Tom managed the car very well, and as we hoped, continued to learn from the post season testing.”

Paul Jackson – Team Principal

“After a disappointing qualifying yesterday, where we didn't reach our potential, it was great to see both drivers have strong performances and be rewarded with the 4th and 6th places. Marcus recovered well and Tom made a very strong debut, taking best rookie. We had a great strategy and the pit stops from the team were faultless. A big well done to everybody.”
