Mitch Evans will lose his front row start for Monza.
Mitch Evans will lose what was set to be his first front row start of the 2015 GP2 season at Monza, having been excluded from qualifying.
The Kiwi was second in the session, trailing poleman Pierre Gasly by a tenth and a half, but will be starting from the back as his car's tyres did not meet the minimum pressure requirements.
As such, runaway championship leader Stoffel Vandoorne will line up second instead.
The untimely exclusion adds to a difficult third season in GP2 for Evans, who is yet to add to his two wins from 2014 and sits eighth in the points.
Spaniard Sergio Canamasas has suffered the same penalty as Evans after having qualified ninth, which would've equalled his personal best effort of 2015 at Monte Carlo.
The other two post-qualifying penalties have went to Marlon Stockinger and Meindert van Buuren, who have both picked up grid drops for impeding Rene Binder.
