In the following stages the overtaking difficulties typical of street circuits limited his recovery chances and the pit-stops game - Coletti pitted during lap seven - shuffled a bit the cards. In the final stages the young Monegasque driver kept the eleventh place until the flag and therefore he ended just outside the points.

The race was won by Joylon Palmer (Carlin) ahead of Felipe Nasr (Carlin) and James Calado (ART Grand Prix). Coletti is currently fourth in the standings with 135 points. Leimer is the leader at 169, followed by Bird at 157 and Nasr at 148.

Stefano Coletti: "During the first lap I took a few risks to gain some positions as on this track overtaking is quite difficult. From lap five super soft tyres started to wear off and in the two laps proceeding the pit stop the rhythm was higher and the chance of getting into the points vanished. We will have another go at it tomorrow".

The programme of the weekend will end tomorrow at 10.10 (GMT+2) with the Sprint Race.
