North Americans perform in Ferrari Finali Modiali

Onofrio Triarsi and Marc Muzzo lock in North American championships at Mugello Circuit

Ten drivers from the North American Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli took part in this year’s Finali Mondiali, the world final held at the legendary Mugello Circuit in Tuscany, Italy this past weekend. Following the conclusion of the 20th Anniversary season for North America, Ferrari’s most competitive owners can now look forward to an exciting 2014 season, with stops at the most storied circuits in North America.

John Farano (Auto Gallery) led the North American drivers in the Trofeo Pirelli class, finishing tenth in the final. Behind him, Harry Cheung (Ferrari of Beverly Hills) finished in 15th place, with Alfonso Celis (Ferrari of Houston) in 20th. Although he was unable to finish at Finali Mondiali, Onofrio Triarsi (Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale) capped an impressive season by securing the North America Trofeo Pirelli championship.

In the Coppa Shell final, Henrik Hedman (Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale) was the highest finishing North American driver, crossing the finish line in sixth place. Following him was Al Delattre (Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale) in 12th position, Al Hegyi (Ferrari of San Diego) in 21st position, and Michael Weinreb (Auto Gallery) in 24th position. After qualifying a strong sixth, Marc Muzzo (Ferrari of Ontario) scored enough points, despite not finishing, to clinch the North American Coppa Shell championship.
