Daytona Ferrari World Finals: Lovat prevails in Coppa Shell
Rick Lovat won the second race of Ferrari Challenge's Coppa Shell at Finali Mondiali at Daytona, while Matt Keegan had a big moment.
Less than 24 hours after having to settle for second place in Coppa Shell's opening race of the Ferrari World Finals at Daytona, Lovat prevailed in the second race.
The Canadian, driving for Kessel Racing, took pole position for Saturday's 30-minute race and drove to a commanding flag-to-flag victory.
Second place went to Vladimir Hladik who managed to get past Fons Scheltema in the closing stages of the race. Scheltema barely secured the final podium spot in front of Rob Hodes.
A high-speed sequence of spins by Matt Keegan on the frontstretch, caused by a blown right-rear tire, brought out the only caution flag of the race.
Keegan, who had finished Friday's opening race in third place, didn't hit anything when he spun.
