Plymouth, WI - It was another exciting Saturday at the track in Road America with the first of two races in the sixth round of the Ferrari Challenge North America. Emmanuel Anassis of Ferrari of Quebec took his victory in the Trofeo Pirelli class, turning his luck around after an accident in today's warm-up session. Doug Peterson (Miller Motorcars) who fought his way against Anassis, finished in second place and Ryan Ockey from Ferrari of Ontario completed the trio on the podium.
Newcomer to the Ferrari Challenge Wei Lu (Ferrari of Vancouver) was all smiles today as he finished in first place showcasing a great performance in the Coppa Shell category. Chris Ruud of Ferrari of Beverly Hills finished today's race in second place, but still leads in the Coppa Shell drivers' standings. Carlos Conde of Miller Motorcars took the third place finish after overtaking Robert Herjavec (Ferrari of Ontario) who suffered from a flat tire in the first lap.
The second race of the weekend will go green tomorrow at 1:05 PM CDT.
