Team Apex Racing Signs Lindsey Adams for 2007 Formula BMW USA Campaign
(Terre Haute, IN) Team Apex Racing USA has signed Texas native Lindsey Adams to contest the 2007 Formula BMW USA Championship. The multi-year agreement will team Adams with the Formula BMW USA race winning group, as they will both continue their pursuit up the ladder in North American open wheel racing. Adams, who started her career in karting, competed in the Southwest Formula Mazda Series notching two wins and nine podium finishes in 2006.
Adams is ready for her next challenge in the ultra competitive Formula BMW USA series. "I am super excited about working with Team Apex and racing in the Formula BMW USA series in 2007. My driving style and work ethics mesh perfectly with the guys at Team Apex and I feel that our goals for this year most definitely coincide. Formula BMW is a very competitive series and a great place for me to learn. Though I am excited about every race in the series, I am most looking forward to racing at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway" said Adams.
Entering its third season of competition in the series, Team Apex is equally as excited about the prospects of its future with Adams. "We first met Lindsey in August of 2006, and it was very apparent how dedicated she is to becoming a great race driver" said David Hunt, Managing Director of Team Apex. "She is very talented and amazingly driven. She understands completely the challenges ahead of her and is meeting them head on. We feel she will represent our team very well on and off the track, and we are thrilled with the opportunity to work with her in the coming years."
