AIM Autosport is pleased to announce the expansion of its Formula BMW USA team to a two car effort in 2005.

Building on its success during the recently completed inaugural 2004 season, AIM is targeting both the driver and team championships for the 2005 campaign.

With a single car team in 2004, AIM and rookie driver James Hinchcliffe were successful in capturing the Rookie Championship, second place overall in the championship and second in the Team Championship with 3 wins and four pole positions.

"The series offers a great deal of exposure and has several very high profile events on its schedule. Combining an aggressive marketing campaign, we are convinced that this series offers us the best opportunity to showcase young racing talent and are very pleased to announce our expansion for the 2005 season." Says team manager Keith Willis.

AIM's Formula BMW USA pre-season testing for 2005 begins in October and continues throughout November and December.
