Stian Sorlie qualified fastest for the second time of the day again ahead of team-mate James Sutton to guarantee an all-Fortec Motorsport front row for race two.

The fastest time was exchanged several times over the first few minutes with Walker-Hansell, Sorlie, Bridgeman and Urbano all setting the fastest time. Behind them Glew, da Costa and Walker-Hansell also stayed in contention.

The times tumbled by midway though the session and at this point the first ten places were covered by just three tenths of a second.

After a round of pitstops Bridgeman, Glew and then Sutton all set fastest times, with Sutton going a quarter of a second faster to be the first driver under one minute fifteen seconds.

The battle between Sorlie and Sutton then resumed with Sutton this time taking the advantage with a 1m 14.692s lap to lead by one tenth of a second. He improved this on next lap to 1m 14.607s, but Sorlie responded straight away with a 1m 14.534s lap to go fastest.

The times tailed off towards the end and Sorlie remained on top closely followed by Sutton in second, Glew in third, Bridgeman in fourth and Urbano in fifth.
