João Urbano and Duarte Félix da Costa want to score at Brands Hatch
The two Drivers from Team Portugal, supported by the Luís Figo Foundation, Duarte Félix da Costa and João Urbano, go back to their Formula BMW UK Championship activities, this next weekend (21/22 August), at the Indy track - shorter version - of the Brands Hatch Circuit. For the second time this season the BMW single seaters compete at this track and both Carlin young Drivers have ambitions of finishing this stage in the first places.
João Urbano maintains the fourth place in the Championship standings and is the first qualified amongst this year's newcomers, not only at the wheels of single seaters but also at British Tracks. In April, at Brands Hatch, he obtained two third places.
"I believe that I may do well once again at this track and, furthermore, since the last stage at Knockhill, my engineer and I have managed to develop a good setup for the car. I am satisfied with this and the fact that I am already familiar with the track also helps a little. Besides that, the second position attained at the last race got me more motivated than ever and I keep thinking on victories until the end of the season", referred João Urbano.
For Duarte Félix da Costa, whose performance during the races as sometimes been compromised by lest fortunate qualifying sessions, some of the problems faced during the practice session will be solved, after some work developed alongside with the car engineer.
"I believe that, from know on, things can go better, since my main problem relies on the fact that I never get to have good qualifying sessions, which throws me back in the grid line. For as much as I may recover, it is always difficult to overtake. During the last race, I started in 14th and ended up in 9th, but it is fundamental to secure a good starting grid position and I will do anything to make that happen", confesses Duarte Félix da Costa.
Championship Standings (after 16 races):
1º, Philip Glew, 156 points

3º, Josh Fisher, 139
4º, João Urbano, 103, 5
5º, Stian Sorlie, 100
6º, James Sutton, 86
12º, Duarte Félix da Costa, 26
