Strong UKF3000 Grid for 99

Peter Briggs, the organiser of the UKF3000 championship, has said he expects 16 cars on the grid at the season opener. He has also gone on to say he expects a full grid for the round at Zolder.

Portman Arrows as normal

Despite the problems surround the TWR Arrows concern, their junior outfit - Portman Arrows - are continuing preparations for their entry in the International F3000 championship.

Larsson to F3?

Fredrik Larsson looks set to move from Indy Lights to British Formula 3 next season. During testing for Alan Docking Racing last week at Pembrey, he impressed the team with his professionalism.

Pavicevic returns to motor sport

Andrej Pavicevic has made his debut in F3000 testing. What makes his drive miraculous is that one month ago he was still in a coma from the Macau F3 race. He drove for Fortec, with whom he drove in F3.

Ford tests F3 engine

The new F3 engine from Ford has been tested at Monza by the Stilo Corse concern. The engine is believed to be based on a Ford Mondeo engine and funded by Ford GB.
