Coloni Motorsport driver Giorgio Pantano scored the 2nd quickest time overall at the end of the two days official testing session in Spa-Francorchamps (B). Enrico Toccacelo took the sixth times overall with an impressive improvement from the day one.

The weather for day two was much better and the track was much more fast. The best times were registered in the early part of the morning session when the air temperature was cooler. The Coloni Motorsport drivers did not use tyre warmers like Ricardo Sperafico, who set the pace in Belgium.

After Hockenheim, Coloni Motorsport confirmed the potential of the two Italian talented driver, who are looking forward with confidence for the last three race of the Championship.

Pantano and Toccacelo showed great performances and they felt very confident with the car set-up. Both drivers tested in race conditions and lapped with full tank. The changeable track conditions permitted to test different set-up and to store a lot of data.

Coloni Motorsport is very satisfied with the Lola's performances. The new B2/50 was three seconds quicker than the B99/50 and the drivers felt the car much more stable and handling, especially in the fast corners. Pantano and Toccacelo enjoyed a lot driving in one of the most exciting circuit of the World. Just like in Monza testing session, the new Lola was performing well with low downforce and the car represent a big step forward in respect of B99/50.

The next round of the Championship will take place in Hungaroring on 17th August.
