Coloni Motorsport immediately on top with Ricardo Sperafico in the first F.I.A. F.3000 International test in Imola.
The first day of the official F.I.A. testing session in Imola ended with a really positive balance for Coloni Motorsport, testing today with Ricardo Sperafico.
Coloni Motorsport, which also tested with excellent results the new Zytek exhaust system, achieved the third time with the young Brazilan driver (1.36,742 in the morning session) and therefore the debut of Italian team, capable of obtaining positive results immediately, is good and gives encouraging indications for the incoming 2003 Championship.
Zsolt Baumgartner unfortunately had to see the tests from the pits: the Hungarian in fact, because of an injured knee, has preferred to skip the entire Imola session, in order to avoid risks and complications that could endanger future tests. However, Zsolt will be fit and prepared to run in about one week, ready for the next session in Jerez, Portugal.
