Ricardo Sperafico set the pace in the first day of the F.I.A. F.3000 International test in Barcelona!

The last test before the start of the 2003 season began very well for Coloni Motorsport: Ricardo Sperafico set today the best time in the first day of testing on the Barcelona track (Spain). In fact, the young Brazilian star achieved in the morning session the excellent time of 1.31.552, earning the first place, while in the afternoon, with a slower track, Ricardo set a time of 1.33.734.

Zsolt Baumgartner gained the 14th position thanks to the time of 1.34.381 obtained in the morning; the Hungarian in the morning made long runs with race setup, in order to develop the car for the Imola race. In the afternoon he continued his work on car development, always with race setup.

Paolo Coloni, Team Principal: A very positive day, Im quite happy with the results achieved today and with the work done by our drivers and by the whole team. Thanks to what done today we can look forward to the first 2003 race, we are confident with the beginning of the new season.
