TP FORMULA & EUROPA CORSE AT THE F3 TESTS IN MONZA

An important agreement has been reached between TP Formula and Europa Corse as far as Italian Formula 3 is concerned.

After two seasons in the Euroseries 3000 TP Formula is considering to enter the Italian Formula 3 Championship from the 2010 season and have therefore already planned an intense testing program with the aim of evaluating new drivers and develop the cars.

The idea of a partnership with Moreno Leonardi and his team came spontaneously considering the reciprocity of the goals and mutual interests and will start already from the test day organized by the Monza Circuit on Wednesday 30th September in which several of the current season protagonists will take part. The young New Zealander Earl Bamber will be the driver to take the Dallara-Ftp car on the track.

Gianluca Pomozzi (TP Formula): "We are really excited to take this new challenge in a series that is showing a great potential and that is very well managed by the organizers. We are extremely happy with the agreement found with Moreno Leonardi that allows us to immediately start testing. We have an excellent technical staff, highly experienced and keen to work hard, so we can't wait to debut in the championship".

Moreno Leonardi (Europa Corse): "I'm very pleased with this partnership and impressed by the professional approach of TP Formula. After a season in which we had to reduce our involvement in F3, we can't wait now to be back on track and quickly retrieve the lost opportunities. I'm confident that this collaboration will bring many satisfactions to both and that will continue for long time".
