Monza is ready to house the third round of the season After the sad loss of Cesare Passoli, all single seaters will get on track with a mourning sign as a tribute to one of the most beloved team managers of the paddock.
'Compared to the races done so far, Monza will be much more fun" commented Edoardo Piscopo (Team Ghinzani). 'Long straights will allow us to get the slipstream and I expect a high number of overtakings. From my side, I will give as usual my best to increase the gap in the classification since the championship is still very long".
Great expectations in the words of Angelo Corbetta too: 'I am very satisfied that FPT Racing engineers together with Magneti Marelli technicians managed to solve promptly those electrical problems that afflicted our cars. This is a further proof of the concrete growth of the whole Italian Formula 3 Championship. Now we will eventually be able to spend our efforts to tackle the leader of the championship; Zipoli, Dalle Stelle and Piancastelli are very motivated for this round and are confident to be able to highlight their value".
The Autodromo Nazionale of Monza is about to house this weekend the third round of the Italian Formula 3 Championship 2008.
In 2007 Monza was the stage of the last two races of the season that gave to Paolo Maria Nocera (Lucidi Motors) the crown of Italian Champion. This year, after last week's tests, Monza will have several drivers trying to stop the supremacy of Edoardo Piscopo (Team Ghinzani).
