Magione, qualifying: Zampieri again on top
Gabriele Lucidi (Lucidi Motors, Team Principal):
"Campana, unfortunately, found some traffic in what was supposed to be his best lap. It is difficult to be certain, but I think that we could have achieved the pole; the challenge in the Italian Formula 3 championship is getting tighter and tighter and a tenth made the difference from the first to the third fastest time today".
Yet another pole for Daniel Zampieri (BVM Target) at the end of a fought qualifying at Magione in the second round of the Italian Formula 3 Championship. A month ago, at Adria, the current classification leader was the first to set the same qualification lap time of Daniel Campos-Hull (Prema Prowerteam), while today just 19 thousands separated the two drivers. Third place for Sergio Campana (Lucidi Motors), followed by Pablo Sanchez Lopez (Alan Racing Team), first of the Mygale drivers."
Giuseppe Mazzotti (BVM-Target, Team Manager):
"Everything was spot on: driver and team worked well and, even for a whisker, we obtained a very important pole position due to the features of this track. Races will be tough but starting at the front is definitely an advantage".
Grazia Troncon (Prema Powerteam, Team Manager):
"What happened in the first two qualifying between Zampieri and Campos-Hull is almost incredible: same lap time at Adria, 19 thousands apart today. It is a shame that we did not get the pole in both occasions but we are satisfied anyway about our competitiveness".
