Negrao replaces Fantin at Draco for FR3.5 round at Le Mans
Andre Negrao will return to the Formula Renault 3.5 series this weekend, replacing Pietro Fantin at International Draco Racing for the Le Mans round.
The Draco squad, owned by Negrao's father Guto, is currently seventh in the Formula Renault 3.5 teams' standings, with Fantin having scored its first podium of the season at Silverstone.
Negrao, 23, contested three seasons with the team between 2011 and 2013, finishing 20th, 15th and 10th in the successive campaigns.
Since the start of 2014, the Brazilian has been racing in GP2 with Arden.
His now-sidelined compatriot Fantin had been in the middle of his third year in the FR3.5 category, having himself joined Draco from Arden Caterham in 2014.
The returning Negrao could be the only driver representing Draco at Le Mans, with Fantin's regular teammate Bruno Bonifacio also absent from the provisional entry list.
