Single-Day of Collective Test in Barcelona

Barcelona, 4 March 2004 -- The Circuit of Catalunya will host tomorrow a single-day test for the World Series Light category, the 250 HP-class in the World Series by Nissan competition platform. The Dallara-AER car is said to be the fastest 2-liter single-seater in Europe.

In his debut, the Series have shown a good performance level and displayed some beautiful racing highlights, introducing some real talents like Juan Cruz Alvarez, the winner.

The whole series starts the new Season the next 28th of March at the Jarama Circuit. The World Series Light displays a 9-meeting calendar, and the winner will receive a prize-bonus of 180.000 Euro.

New entered team in the World Series Light, Saulnier Racing, debuts with the French-Swiss driver Harold Primat and Mathieu Lahaye. Saulnier has successfully irrupted in the World Series by Nissan with his 450 Hp Team.

The Italian-ace Matteo Pellegrino, 6th overall in the last campaign, has joined the team Vergani Formula, and will be on duty alongside Giovanni Tedeschi.

The 2001 victorious Team, Epsilon Sport, is very pleased to announce its agreement with the French driver Simon Abadie, former F3 Euroseries driver, and he will be testing the young Belgian driver, Maxime Hodencq.

Meycom Sport, the wining team in 2003, will be participating in this test with Celso Miguez, one of his 2004 confirmed drivers.

Track activity will go from 9h00 to 18h00
