A Sour Magny-Cours for Pellegrino

The third round of the World Series Light championship in Magny- Cours didn't go as Matteo Pellegrino predicted.

A few technical problems and not the most advantageous car set-up, ruined both Race 1 and Race 2 for Matteo.

In Race 1,the driver from Ravenna had a hard time keeping the car on the track. In fact,he even lost control of the car once but managed to reach to finish the line anyway.

Race 2 went a little better. He was 4th on the starting grid and Matteo managed in an instant to conquer the second place after the first turn. Unfortunately, he was later lightly hit and sent off track. Pellegrino, who wasn't discouraged by this, immediately got back on track and climbed his way up to the fifth place finish.

Matteo Pellegrino

"These 2 races aren't very memorable.Although we worked hard on the single-seater, the car had many problems on track. Race 1 was quite tiring but Race 2 was a little better. However getting the 5th place wasn't my goal. One shouldn't be discouraged in moments like this. Instead one must react with determination. I'm going to try to figure out along with the team what went wrong with the car and how come it didn't behave the way we had predicted. That way at the next round, I'll be back in the front line."
