Matteo Pellegrino Starts Off Well in Magny-Cours

The usual two day free practice session for the third round of the World Series Light championship ended today in Magny-Cours.

These two days have been positive for Matteo Pellegrino and have been dedicated to preparing for Saturday's qualifying session and for the race on Sunday.

On Thursday Matteo set the fifth best time during both sessions (1'34''708in the first session, 1'34''152 in the second) and always tested with used tyres. Today, put on new tyres and easily lowered his time under 1'34'00 (1'33''735 in the first, 1'33''841 n the second session).

This weekend's program consists of two qualifying sessions on Saturday (at 10.30-11.00 and at 13.30-14.00) and two races on Sunday (at 10.10 and 13.20,16 laps within 30 minutes).

"I'm rather satisfied with the results. The car is well balanced for the race and today we found a good set up for the qualifying session as well. It will be important to start in the front row to do well during the race. Therefore, I hope I run two perfect laps tomorrow."
