Winkelhock takes the pole !

The rain doesn't stop Markus Winkelhock, who wants to have what he deserves: always very fast, as he has shown from the season beginning, German driver of the Draco Team came to the fourth round at Le Mans with a resolute attitude, ready to do his best. In spite of the rain and the wet track, Winkelhock pushed very hard, snatching the pole position in the first qualifying session: "This pole position will do me good - he commented - I have the abilities and the means to get good results, I hope to make the most of this pole". Also in the second session of qualifying he set a fast lap: 1'24.039 on the dry track, so he will line up on the third row of the grid in the second race.

Instead, the rain "betrayed" Christian Montanari, who went off the track in the first session, but he was able to continue: S.Marino' driver will start from the sixth row in the first race, while he will line up ninth in the second challenge. Very fast in the free-practices, Montanari aims high, ready for a great recovery...
