Catalunya welcomes the 7th Round of the World Series by Nissan the next 3rd of October
World Series by Nissan teams concentrated in the Circuit today. Kovalainen (Pons Racing) was the quickest man lapping 1.30.540. Adrian Valles was the second man in command, only 0.2 seconds slower than the current leader.
Félix Porteiro completed a successful test with the Basque Country Team, Epsilon Euskadi. Porteiro has managed to impress Mr. Villadelprat and hopefully the Team will confirm him for the Event in Barcelona.
On the other hand, Team Principal Santiago Porteiro (Porfesa) has already confirmed that his team will not take part in the meeting. Porteiro will prepare the participation in the next two rounds with his oldest son, Santiago Jr., and a new driver. The team will test in Valencia the next 8th of October.
RC Motorsport has confirmed rumours of replacing its driver Tomas Kostka for the Indian Kharum Chandok. The driver already visited the team during the German race in Lausitz, and they already agreed that Kharum will drive for the Team in the last meetings. Today he was 6th fastest, just 0.3 fastest than Narain Kartikheyan, who was the only man in used tyres.
Gabord Reyco tested with Juan Alvarez (5th), but the other car was shared between the current official driver Tsubobayashi, and his friend and driver Hiro Yoshimoto.
