Alexander Wurz, the young Austrian driving alongside Giancarlo Fisichella at Benetton, can now breathe a sigh of relief -- at least for a little while. After Wurz attempted to discredit reports of his impending replacement on Saturday, the real news was team manager Flavio Briatore's confirmation of the security of Wurz. "He will definitely be with us until the end of the season," Briatore stated. "I don't know where all these rumours have come from." But while this gives Wurz some breathing room, he will surely still feel the pressure to improve: after six races, he has yet to score a point, while his teammate has racked up ten. Somethign will have to change in order for Wurz to to gain Briatore's support for 2001 as well as the remainder of 2000.
