Sir Frank Williams thinks any of the top six drivers on the grid could win if they were driving a Ferrari as the whole team is responsible for their success not just the driver or the car. Although Michael Schumacher is arguably the best driver, Williams believes Ferrari would still be dominant even without the German's talents.

"I think that if the next four to six drivers on the grid jumped in that car to varying degrees they would win," he said. "Perhaps not by as far as Michael but they would put a championship together because it's not only the car, it's the team. They benefit from outstanding race strategy, excellent preparation and until the last two races excellent reliability. Happily, that seems to be diminishing. Perhaps I ought to go to church and pray for it to get worse!"

Ferrari's Rubens Barrichello has been the one on the end of the reliability glitches, with an engine failure and a gearbox problem. The Maranello team are currently heading the Constructors' standing with fifty points while Williams are seven behind on forty-three. Although recently some have said there is no chance of beating Ferrari this year, Williams are still looking like the main challengers for the Constructors' title. McLaren are currently trailing in third place with a mere thirteen points.
