Antonio Pizzonia was on duty for the BMW WilliamsF1 Team at Le Castellet today, as the team continued its preparations for next week's San Marino Grand Prix.

Conditions for today's second day of testing at the Paul Ricard Circuit, were a little on the cool side, with heavy clouds keeping the temperature down to around 13°C.

Today Antonio Pizzonia took over the wheel of the WilliamsF1 BMW FW26 from Marc Gené. The Brazilian completed a number of long runs as he evaluated different tyre compounds and constructions with Michelin.

Tomorrow will be the final day of testing before the BMW WilliamsF1 Team heads to Imola for the first European round of the 2004 Formula One World Championship. Antonio will be joined by Juan Pablo Montoya.

Sam Michael (WilliamsF1's Chief Operations Engineer):

"Today Antonio took over testing duties from Marc Gené and continued the set-up work that we are investigating. He also did long runs on the most interesting tyre compounds and constructions in preparation for the forthcoming San Marino Grand Prix."
