Williams launches new site

1 February, 2011. Grove, UK. As testing for the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship commences, AT&T Williams has launched an upgraded version of its team website, www.attwilliams.com. The team is also pleased to confirm that it will once again host the live timing feed for the official pre-season test sessions.

The team's website has always proved popular with the sport's fans as Williams aims to create one of the most informative sites in motorsport. For the 2011 season, the team will continue to deliver up-to-the-minute news and race reports, as well as media-rich content through the WF1 TV channel, the highlight being a new series of circuit previews which will provide an in-depth insight into the team's engineering preparations ahead of each race weekend.

The Team Player community, launched at the start of 2010, has also benefitted from an upgrade to ensure AT&T Williams fans continue to receive the optimum experience in return for their support of the team. Additional social media elements alongside the existing complement will be rolled out as the European gets underway in May.

In 2010, AT&T Williams welcomed more than 1,000,000 visitors to the site, thereby surpassing its target reach and achieving a 35% uplift in visitor traffic from the previous year. With approximately 80,000 unique users visiting attwilliams.com per month in 2010, the enhanced functionality and enriched content is expected to boost even more traffic to the site during 2011.

For the second year running, AT&T Williams is proud to offer a live test time feed on the team's website covering all four pre-season tests in Valencia, Jerez, Barcelona and Bahrain. Just click on the link on the homepage.
