Mark Webber and Antonio Pizzonia continued the BMW WilliamsF1 Team's test programme at the 'Circuit de Catalunya', Barcelona. On the second day of testing at the 4.627 kilometre circuit, conditions were ideal once again. In the bright Spanish sunshine, temperatures crept up to 18°C.

Mark continued to familiarise himself with the WilliamsF1 BMW FW26, as he focussed on set-up work. In the afternoon, the Australian worked on tyre compound evaluations with the BMW WilliamsF1 Team's tyre partner, Michelin. Mark completed 85 laps of the Barcelona track, posting a personal best time of 1:15.236 minutes.

Following yesterday's technical problems, today was trouble-free for the BMW WilliamsF1 Team's official test and reserve driver, Antonio Pizzonia. The Brazilian worked on set-ups in addition to evaluating gearbox settings. Antonio completed 44 laps, setting a best time of 1:15.753 minutes.
