Ralf Schumacher was hard at work behind the wheel in Spain today.
Weather WSunny and dry. Average air temperature 30ºC. Average track temperature 44ºC.
The BMW WilliamsF1 Team was at Barcelona for the first day of a four day test with Ralf Schumacher driving. He completed systems and tyre testing.
A summary of the four-day test will be issued on Friday along with comments from WilliamsF1 and BMW.
Ricardo Sperafico also gets put to work by the BMW WilliamsF1 Team.
Lurcy-Levis (Danielson) Test Day One (of Four):
Petrobras F3000 Junior Team driver, Ricardo Sperafico, is doing some more straight-line testing for the BMW WilliamsF1 Team this week. The weather was hot and dry and there were no problems today with all the scheduled tasks being carried out.
The Lurcy-Levis circuit in France is ideal for straight line aerodynamic testing.
The Lurcy-Levis circuit is situated near Nevers in Central France. Homologated by the FIA for Formula One testing, it also known as Danielson and its special feature is the 700 metre-long straight. There are also several configurations that can be used however, the Grand Circuit is 2.4 km.
