Track temperature is 22C and much drier than the first session. Juan-Pablo Montoya takes to the grass on the first corner while David Coulthard for McLaren posts the fastest time. Until Michael Schumacher once again takes over the top of the times as he did in the morning session.

Ruebens Barrichello now in second, Nick Heidfeld jumps to fifth for Sauber, Takuma Sato sixth for Jordan. Barrichello spun out and Enrique Bernoldi stalled on track for Arrows -- Heidfeld is leaping up the times, now into third with a 1.29.856. Team mate Felipe Massa in seventh; Sauber are looking good.

Fifteen minutes in, the classification: Michael Schumacher, Barrichello, Heidfeld, Kimi Raikkonen, Coulthard, Pedro de la Rosa.

Jordan have done more laps than anyone, both Giancarlo Fisichella and Sato doing over 20 laps. Heinz-Harald Frentzen lost the rear end of the Arrows but kept it on track.

Quiet at the moment, Montoya picks up sixth fastest for Williams, while Fisichella posts eighth. No-one can knock Michael Schumacher off the top of the time sheets, team mate Barrichello sets a 1.28.066 in second. Minardi are down at the bottom, Arrows, BAR and Renault not far ahead. Allan McNish jumps into 10th for Toyota, happy smiles all round in the team camp as he proceeds to eighth -- team mate Mika Salo is down in 19th at the moment.

Ferrari still hold one and two, so much for the criticism of using the old car. Qualifying will tell. Heidfeld again takes third, Raikkonen fourth, Fisichella fifth. Jordan is looking fast. Minardi are eight seconds off the pace, Mark Webber in 21st, will they even get inside the 107% in qualifying? Tarso Marques didn't last year......

Rain is falling again, Barrichello went out but lost more than a second in the first sector, all is quiet just now.

Michael Schumacher was on a flyer but ran into traffic, Montoya hit the grass again, Toyota up to 10th with McNish, Montoya into fourth. Jacques Villeneuve puts his BAR in ninth, Jenson Button into 12th. Ralf Schumacher takes over third for Williams while Jaguar's de la Rosa takes to the grass. Montoya snatches third from Ralf, five seconds to breathe while nothing much is happening. Minardi are still bottom of the times, Alex Yoong spun on his out lap so that was the end of his session.

20 minutes to go, classification: Michael Schumacher, Barrichello, Montoya Ralf Schumacher, Heidfeld, Raikkonen, Fisichella, Jarno Trulli, Coulthard , Villeneuve, de la Rosa, Button, McNish, Massa, Salo, Eddie Irvine, Olivier Panis, Sato, Frentzen, Bernoldi, Webber, Yoong.

Track is wet now, Michael Schumacher yet again sets the fastest time, Salo is on a fast lap, he posts third for Toyota, just to be replaced by Ralf Schumacher for Williams. Fisichella's engine blew -- thats the end of his session. Massa pops up into eighth for Sauber, Barrichello was on a fast lap but got held up by a Renault.

Montoya leaps into fourth, three minutes to go. Coulthard has some problem with his Mclaren, he's talking to his engineer. McLaren have been surprisingly quiet so far, with Raikkonen in seventh and Coulthard down in 11th.

In the end, Ferrari reign supreme; Michael Schumacher set the fastest time, 1.27.276, with teammate Barrichello only just behind. Session over.
