The spirited outspoken French Canadian, Jacques Villeneuve is threatening to quit Formula 1 if the FIA follows through on their decision and threat to slow down the F1 cars. The 1997 World Champion is known for his no holds barred approach on track and had this to say: "I am totally against slowing the cars down. I started racing because I liked the feeling of being on the edge. It's what the sport is all about. If that feeling died, I wouldn't be racing for long after that."

He is currently locked in a war of words with various individuals blaming him for the death of the Australian marshal. Jacques Villeneuve known for his straightforwardness has gone on record to defend himself after staying neutral since the Australian GP.
