Jacques Villeneuve and manager Craig Pollock will again host the "Grand Prix 24 Heures de Tremblant" at the Candian resort of Tremblant in December. Last year the charity event was a great success and raised over $300,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The Grand Prix ski race is the main event in a weekend of various winter sports in which both professional and recreational skiers take part.

"We were overwhelmed by the support received for our first event in North America from skiers and snowboarders across the continent," said Villeneuve. "Selecting Tremblant as the venue for the '24 heures' was a wise choice. Tremblant's reputation for excellence is known internationally and it provided a compelling reason for our participants to choose to ski for charity."

"People know Tremblant, they know the skiing is great, that the village is a fun spot, and that if they get involved with a charity event here, it's going to be a memorable one."
