Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel used a helmet with a new design on it for Free Practice 1 of the Japanese Grand Prix. The art on the helmet was specifically designed for the race this weekend.
For several years, the German driver has been getting helmet designs specially made for himself by the JMD design company.
This year, designer Agnieszka Ward made a full hand design with acrylic paint. In addition to sponsor logos, the elements are all classic techniques of drawing.
It is based on the character 五 (go), which is five in Japanese.
