Turkish Grand Prix driver ratings
Formula 1's return to Turkey produced a thriller on a surface many compared to an ice rink, as unexpected contenders came to the fore. But only one driver earned a perfect score in our ratings
Lewis Hamilton – 10
In different circumstances Hamilton would score a nine after his qualifying struggles – taking his lowest grid spot of 2020 – and twice sliding off the road in the race, losing positions each time. But his charge on the intermediates was just brilliant. Up there with his best F1 wins, he displayed superb judgement and deftness, so we're using our discretion to award a maximum for his first "ice race" win.
