After testing in Barcelona this week, Renault's Jarno Trulli is heading home to London where he has lived since last summer. Trulli, who has a property near Heathrow airport, wanted to be close to Renault's UK headquarters in Enstone and also finds the closeness of the airport handy for trips back to the family base in Pescara, Italy.

"I'm determined to be completely involved in the Renault programme, and to be able to get to the factory quickly when I need to," he told the team website. "I moved last summer, and now live in a little cottage quite close to the M4 motorway. And even better: there are daily flights from London to Pescara, where my friends and family live."

Amongst other things while in the UK, Trulli will be interviewed for a magazine and says he doesn't mind talking to the media: "I'll also be spending a couple of hours on a magazine article. The media side of the job doesn't bother me: on the contrary, I like journalists to understand what my life is like day-to-day, and what the demands are for a modern F1 driver. For the most part, there's a nice atmosphere and we have a good time."

The Italian likes his adopted hometown of London and is even adapting to the infamous British weather: "I really like it here," he said. "Even if I don't get into the centre as much as I would like. The weather is sometimes a little... harsh, but I'm getting used to it! The only thing to remember is to never go out without an umbrella -- even when you're cycling!"
