Speaking on Friday at he French Grand Prix, Jarno Trulli admitted that the prospect of Honda joining Jordan in 2001 with a works engine deal is extremely motivating to the entire team, despite the fact that major changes will inevitably take place.

"Quite a lot will change on the team. The contract with Honda gives us better opportunities, now that everyone is getting closer and the racing is becoming more competitive."

The announcement was made on Thursday June 29 that Honda would provide Jordan with engines from 2001. The Japanese manufacturer currently supplies BAR with works engines, as well as assisting the team with chassis development. This will continue next year, although it is believe Jordan will be the favoured team amongst the two.
