Testing continued today at the Circuit de Jerez in Spain where Cristiano da Matta drove again for Panasonic Toyota Racing. The Brazilian driver covered in excess of 300 kilometres at the wheel of the team's TF103 and managed to complete the technical programme on schedule, setting a time of 1m18.98 on the best of his 74 laps.

"The weather was very nice again today and it was mostly a trouble-free session for us. We continued going through our extensive set-up programme and focused entirely on preparations for the Malaysian race. I am really happy with the work we have achieved in just two days. It will certainly help me to get acquainted even quicker with the particular layout of the Sepang circuit. I will now spend one day at home before I fly this weekend to Malaysia and I am naturally looking forward to it very much."

Olivier Panis will take over driving duties tomorrow and Saturday for the last two days of Panasonic Toyota Racing's test session in Jerez.
