The Mexico GP is one of Formula 1’s most colorful and atmospheric events – high altitude, a passionate crowd, and the iconic Foro Sol stadium section create a weekend unlike any other. But Mexico City can be overwhelming if you don’t plan smart. Here are five tips to make the most of your trip.

Skip the rental car – use taxis or apps

Driving in Mexico City isn’t for the faint-hearted: traffic is chaotic, roads are confusing, and parking near the circuit is almost impossible. Save yourself the stress – taxis and ride-hailing apps like Uber work well and are inexpensive compared to Europe. Just be prepared for traffic around race weekend, and leave early.

Soak up the atmosphere in Foro Sol

The stadium section is what makes the Mexico GP unique. Even if you’re not seated there, make time to visit – the noise, the colors, and the post-race podium ceremony inside a packed stadium are unforgettable.
