Super Aguri confirmed on February 6th that it will begin testing at Barcelona this month in a three day programme from the 21st to the 23rd. Drivers have not been confirmed but are expected to be announced in the near future.

The car, which is an updated version of the 2002 Arrows chassis, is designated the SA05. It will be powered by the Honda RA806E engine and will run on Bridgestone tyres.

Among the key figures Aguri Suzuki is confirmed as team principal and Daniel Audetto as managing director. Mark Preston is chief technical officer, Peter McCool chief designer, Kevin Lee chief operations officer and Mick Ainsley-Cowlishaw is the team manager.

Phill Spencer takes the role of chief mechanic and Graham Taylor is chief race engineer, while Gerry Huges and Antonio Cuquerella are race engineers for cars 22 and 23 respectively.
