As part of the celebrations marking Melbourne's 10th Formula One Grand Prix at Albert Park this weekend, a very special parade featuring F1 cars will do laps of Melbourne's central business district, with Aussie F1 star and BMW Williams driver Mark Webber on show in an open-top car.

Thousands of spectators are expected to line the streets as Minardi F1 team owner Paul Stoddart gets behind the wheel of one of his F1 cars in tribute to his home town, with Dutchman Christijan Albers in the second Minardi, and Brazilian test driver Antonio Pizzonia in a BMW Williams.

Australian V8 Supercar drivers Marcos Ambrose and Mark Skaife will top off the spectacle in their Ford and Holden machines, while string quartet Bond -- ambassadors of the 2005 FORMULA 1 Foster's Australian Grand Prix -- will join the parade.

The "circuit" will start in Flinders Street, travel up St Kilda Road to the Arts Centre, turn and take in the block of Swanston, Collins, Russell and Flinders Streets.
