Singapore intruder sentenced to six weeks in jail

The Singapore Grand Prix intruder has been sentenced to six weeks in jail after jumping onto the track during this year's race.

Twenty-seven year-old Yogvitam Pravin Dhokia was facing criminal charges after walking onto the circuit during the September 20 event at the Marina Bay circuit.

He had pleaded guilty and had already spent time in jail.

On Tuesday, a Singapore district court sentenced him to six weeks in jail for what the judge labelled as a "selfish and foolhardy" act.
