Singapore GP track intruder arrested
The man who jumped onto the track during the Singapore Grand Prix has been arrested by local police, the FIA said.
The intruder, an unidentified 27-year-old man according to the FIA, walked onto the track near Turn 13 during the race, causing the deployment of the safety car for the second time.
The ruling body said it will wait for a report before deciding what actions need to be taken.
"We are awaiting a full report from the Clerk of the Course in order to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident," said the FIA in a statement.
